I am a fully qualified Social Care Worker upon achieving 2nd Class Honors degree in Athlone. I have recently came back home to Mayo after living in Australia for the past year. I have 3 nephews aged 14, 12 & 8 whom I have and continues to care for since newborn. I have childminding experience of all ages of children here in Ireland and Australia ranging from newborns all the way up to teenagers. I consider myself fun, creative, humorous and innovative with children with the aim of keeping their minds busy while they learn, develop and have fun! I have extensive work experience since 2020 in supporting children and young adults of all ages in residential care, day care services, in private settings with intellectual disabilities including Autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, Down syndrome, epilepsy and many more challenges they may have faced in their young lives. I have supported each one in their daily tasks. I also have extensive experience since 2020 in caring for vulnerable adults and the elderly in their own homes and also in care facilities in Mayo.
